I’m a California native, turned Texan after moving to Austin in 2019 with my husband and our crazy little cowdog. When I’m not busy behind the scenes working some wedding day magic you can catch me at a winery, being a queso queen, camping, paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake or cozying up at our home in South Austin.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from San Francisco State University and have worked as a corporate event manager for the past seven years. When I moved to Austin, I found my love for the world of weddings as part of the Simply XO Events team. I was inspired to start Moonrise Weddings & Events so I could continue to help couples celebrate their love.
